Brooklyn Nets forward Michael Porter Jr. has sparked discussion after weighing in on the income of Sophie Rain. The OnlyFans creator recently revealed she had earned more than $82 million through the platform. Porter shared his thoughts during a Twitch Q&A with streamer PlaqueBoyMax on Friday, August 29.
Porter admitted he was shocked by the figures and didn’t hold back his opinion. “I mean, to me it’s kind of lame that dudes is giving her 50 M’s bro. And it be dudes who probably got wives and kids, and they’re over there in their little room being weird like. To me, that’s wild.”
Though he emphasized that he wasn’t judging Rain herself, the NBA player described the earnings as “crazy.” He said, ”But I mean, like, I don’t judge anybody, but like, that’s wild to me. Like, she’s made, I’ve seen something, she made 80-something M’s in the past year or two.
Porter also went on to question the authenticity of interactions on the platform. The NBA player said, “And the thing about that, bro, is these girls on OnlyFans, they’re not even the ones typing, going back and forth with these dudes. They’re probably talking to some dude in the Philippines who’s running her account.” He added, “So like, y’all wasting y’all’s bread doing that.”
When asked directly whether he had ever subscribed to the platform, he answered, “I ain’t never been on OnlyFans. Y’all know I’m open about pretty much everything. OnlyFans is something I’ve never been on.”
This comes after Rain’s recent appearance on David Dobrik’s YouTube channel on August 26. She revealed that she has earned $82 million in just the past year and a half.
