Jacob Elordi has landed in a bit of hot water after apparently getting into a heated spat with a bodyguard. The tense exchange took place on the red carpet of his new movie at the Venice Film Festival. The jury’s out on whether or not it was deserved.

The Saltburn actor appeared to face off with a member of staff at the festival. In a video shared on TikTok by the aptly named user ManCrushDaily, Jacob seems to be annoyed with the official for giving him instructions.
In the clip, he can be seen talking to the staff member, whom the fan refers to as a bodyguard, before greeting fans. “I’m going to take a picture right here,” the Australian actor says, adding “Don’t ever tell me what to do.”
The fan who recorded the video clearly wasn’t put off. They made a point of noting the actor was “so sexy and nice”.
The Euphoria star was signing autographs at the premiere of his latest movie, Frankenstein. Directed by Guillermo Del Toro, the adaptation of the classic novel features Oscar Isaac as Frankenstein and Jacob as his Creature.
While it’s unclear exactly what caused the exchange at the event, it wouldn’t be the first time the actor has lost his temper.
