In Lifetime’s new series, The Chrisleys: Back to Reality, we’re learning all about how the family legal drama impacted the relationship between the Chrisley siblings. Chase Chrisley found himself on the outs with his other siblings while their parents were locked up. He spoke about his strained relationship with his brother, Grayson Chrisley, and he blamed Savannah Chrisley for making it worse.
Chase and Grayson Chrisley spoke about where they both stand

During Episode 2 of The Chrisleys: Back to Reality, the brothers admitted that they haven’t felt close recently. Grayson blamed it on Chase’s wayward behavior, comparing their dynamic to that of their father and uncle.
“My issue is, I see a lot of the same things with me and Chase as I saw with my dad and his brother,” Grayson said. “You know, we don’t really talk to him much ’cause my dad was always having to bail him out of stuff. And [my dad] tried to help him his whole life. … You can’t help somebody who doesn’t wanna help themselves.”
Meanwhile, Chase had a different perspective on their rift. He said that Savannah played a hand in creating the distance between him and Grayson. Chase told the cameras that his sister drove “a little wedge there.”
He later said to Grayson, “Savannah just wants to be worshiped, and I’m not doing that. I don’t know what her beef is with me.”
According to Grayson and Savannah, Chase needed to be more present while their parents navigated their legal issues. Instead, he was running around being a drunken nuisance, fighting with bar staff, and getting locked up for battery.
“You’re my brother, I love you. I would love for you to have your life together,” Grayson told his big brother at one point in the episode.
Grayson also suggested therapy, but Chase didn’t seem too interested in that. Instead, he continued to place the blame on Savannah. He said she’s trying to make him the villain in the family.
“I know Savannah’s trying to paint me out to be this big, bad monster that’s not there for the family, but that’s just not the case. I wanna be there for my family,” he said in a confessional.
Chase continued, “I want us to actually have a family dynamic and a family relationship. I’ve reached out and I’ve apologized for anything she feels that I’ve done, or haven’t done. And I told her that I’m here when she’s ready. I just don’t think she’s ready right now.”
The Chrisleys: Back to Reality airs on Lifetime on Tuesdays at 8/7c.
