If there’s one person who’s well-versed in parenting, it’s Kim Kardashian. She co-parents four kids, namely North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm, with ex-husband Kanye West. The reality mogul shared a controversial take on the subject during her appearance on Kai Cenat‘s livestream over the past weekend. The streamer got the SKIMS founder to reveal her big parenting “no”, which surprised guests and netizens alike. Without further ado: she claimed to be against the concept of kids doing homework. At home, at least.
Kim Kardashian just threw shade at this common parenting practice
Kim Kardashian has been vocal about her parenting journey. This time around, she threw a little shade at a common parenting practice. This happened when she appeared on Kai Cenat’s “Mafiathon 3” livestream. The reality star’s controversial take on homework went viral on X (formerly Twitter).
As the guests discussed reasons in favor of kids doing their homework, the SKIMS founder’s opinion was to the contrary. She said, “I don’t believe in homework.” Her statement left a few livestream members shocked, while others welcomed her take. However, the businesswoman had a justifiable explanation behind her reasoning on this part of parenting.
Explaining why she doesn’t understand the concept of homework, Kardashian expressed that kids need to have a life outside of school; that wouldn’t happen if they were to bring homework — home. “The Kardashians” star pointed out that kids already spend around eight hours in school. She added that, after school, they should prioritize sports, social life, and spending time with family over lessons. Concluding, she said that “homework should be left, for, like, in school.”
The “American Horror Story” star makes sure to spend quality time with her kids. She recently went on a trip to Rome with her eldest child, daughter North West. The mother-daughter duo sported coordinating fashionable outfits. The 12-year-old paired a corset top with a miniskirt, while her blue hair was styled in pigtails.
Last month, Kardashian shared photos of her other kids, Saint, Chicago and Psalm, enjoying their Cabo getaway.
