Prince William Is the ‘Real Ruler’ & Not King Charles for a Reason, Says Source

Prince William has reportedly been calling the shots instead of King Charles. According to a source, the Prince of Wales is the “real ruler,” despite his father being the monarch. The 76-year-old royal seems self-conscious and wants to be in the good books of everyone. Meanwhile, the heir does not seemingly fear taking bold decisions in favor of the crown’s future.

Prince William doesn’t scare easily while King Charles is ‘terrified’ of bad headlines, says source

Prince William is the next in line after King Charles, thus, people have been closely observing the first son for a while. Sources told Rob Shuter’s #ShuterScoop that the 43-year-old said he wanted to understand his duties clearly as the future king. Reportedly, everyone has already considered him the real ruler.

Highlighting the difference, a palace insider stated that the king has always been cautious and “terrified of bad headlines.” It has seemingly been his “weakness,” as he does not want people to fear him, but love him. On the other hand, William is not afraid of making “unpopular decisions if they protect the monarchy long-term.” He doesn’t “scare easily,” therefore, he has already begun to call the shots.

According to a senior staff member at the place, the hierarchy is not a secret. When King Charles interacts, the royal court attendees politely listen. However, the response is totally different when his elder son speaks. “But when William gives instructions? That’s what gets done. Everyone knows who’s really in charge,” the staffer added. Furthermore, an aide claimed they have become part of a “dual monarchy.” “One for show, one for real,” they concluded.

Meanwhile, the situation behind palace walls might affect Prince Harry. Reportedly, his goal to reconcile with his royal family has “zero chance” to succeed without his brother’s “blessing.”

Another insider bluntly pointed out that the king might let bygones be bygones. However, the decision of allowing Harry to return might not be in the hands of their father. “Charles might forgive him, but William decides who’s in and who’s out,” the source claimed.
