It’s been just over a week since news of Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s engagement, but lately the NFL star has been talking about it non stop.
News that the celebrity couple are getting married got massive hits on Instagram, and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end is relishing the opportunity to share the good news with so many people.
The day after the big announcement, though, Travis didn’t mention his engagement to his loyal fan base in last week’s episode of New Heights, a podcast he co-hosts with brother Jason, a former NFL player himself. While Travis didn’t mention it, he did get a congratulations from his brother on the show.
On Wednesday’s episode of the podcast, however, Travis couldn’t stop talking about his upcoming wedding. “It’s been really fun telling everybody who I’m going to be spending the rest of my life with,” Travis told listeners.
A wedding date for the two celebrities remains unknown.

While Travis is preparing to begin another NFL season this week, the Pro Bowl tight end is over the moon to be marrying Swift.
Their engagement took place at Travis’ estate in Leawood, “a couple of weeks” before the pair went public with the news, according to Page Six. Travis’ father, Ed, says that his youngest son did ask Taylor’s dad, Scott, for his blessing before proposing. According to Ed, that conversation took place a month before the proposal.
Travis added that he is “giddy” and “excited” to share his good news with fans and those closest to him.
He and Taylor began dating in 2023, with the pop star attending many of his games at Arrowhead Stadium. His Chiefs begin the 2025 regular season in Brazil on Friday when they take on the Los Angeles Chargers.
Taylor meanwhile, is preparing for the release of her new album Life of a Showgirl which comes out on October 3.
