In his speech, Harry jokingly apologized to the bride as she had to “marry a bald man.” After some laughs, the vibe turned sad as he mentioned their late mother, Princess Diana. “There were muffled sobs when Harry told his brother, ‘Our mother would be so very proud of you,’” the author wrote.
According to the book, the duke treated Middleton like his sister. He referred to the married couple’s “decade-long romance” and said it was his “inspiration.” To this, the then-Duchess of Cambridge “wiped away tears.” Moreover, their emotional moment didn’t end there.
