Nonetheless, the governor of Rhode Island, Daniel McKee, has already pitched the potential wedding location.
Soon after the engagement news broke, McKee took to X (formerly Twitter) to share his thoughts. The governor reposted the NFL’s post congratulating Swift and Kelce, which also included a photo from their dreamy proposal. McKee wrote, “Rhode Island has some of the best wedding venues in the world,” and added, “just saying.” Although Swift owns a property in the Watch Hill neighborhood in Westerly, it is unclear what venue she’d choose for the wedding.
