Reality TV might have saved the family farm. On The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys, Steven McBee Jr. and his family were fighting to get their family farm out of the red. Some family members went to desperate measures to make it happen, but it sounds like the success of their reality show might have saved the day. Now, they have some exciting things in store to keep the momentum going.
Steven McBee Jr. reveals new features coming to the farm

In Season 1, Steve McBee Sr. nominated Steven Jr to take over the reins of the family business, McBee Farm & Cattle Company. The only downside? They were in the midst of a financial crisis. We later learned that Steven Sr. was the subject of an FBI investigation for funneling millions of dollars into the farm via fraudulent insurance claims.
Steve Sr. is awaiting his sentencing, but Steven Jr. told Bravo’s The Daily Dish that business is booming for McBee Farm & Cattle. Plus, they plan to cash in on their new Bravolebrity fame by turning the farm into a tourist attraction.
“We’re working on making this farm a tourist destination with on-site farm visits, cabin stays, and tours, where we can give back to those that have helped us save it through supporting us and give everyone that wants the chance to come live the simple life on the farm, even just if for a couple of days,” Steven revealed.
When this comes to fruition, guests at the farm can enjoy a fabulous stay in Gallatin, Missouri, where the population is less than 2,000. For reference, it’s about an hour outside of Kansas City. The McBees put the town on the map with their show, and they want you to see it in person.
“We’ve got some big plans in the near future — so stay tuned for what we have in store,” Steven Jr. teased.
The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys is streaming on Peacock and Hayu in the UK and Ireland.
