Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are reportedly not on the same page about their wedding despite the set venue. The lovebirds announced their engagement on August 26, and since then, speculations have also been swirling about when and where the ceremony will take place. While Swift’s Rhode Island mansion may be the top choice, a new report has now suggested that she and Kelce may have different ideas about the size of the wedding.
Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift may have different ideas about ‘big blowout’ wedding, says source
A new report has suggested Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce may disagree on the size of their wedding, while the venue appears to be set. The Daily Mail exclusively learned from an insider that the engaged couple is currently planning to hold the ceremony at the singer-songwriter’s $28 million oceanfront estate in Watch Hill, Rhode Island. The property has been famous for Swift’s star-studded Fourth of July parties.
The Daily Mail insider also claimed that the NFL player’s family “doesn’t care where it’s at.” While the venue is reportedly set, Swift and Kelce may not be on the same page about how big the wedding would be. The insider claimed that the Kansas City Chiefs’ tight end “wants a big blowout with everyone he loves.” However, Kelce has reportedly said that he has to “run it by” Swift. The insider said, “I’d guess he wants a bigger thing than she does.”
Therefore, the wedding planning could get tricky for Swift and Kelce. On the other hand, Page Six recently learned that the couple plans to have a “private” ceremony. It would include their families and close friends. The report suggested Swift and Kelce’s highly anticipated wedding may not be as grand as fans might assume. A source told the outlet that it will be “more casual than people think.”
Earlier, the governor of Rhode Island, Daniel McKee, also seemingly pitched the other potential locations in the area for the wedding. The public figure reposted the NFL’s congratulatory post for Swift and Kelce. McKee shared his thoughts, writing, “Rhode Island has some of the best wedding venues in the world.” The governor added, “Just saying.” Meanwhile, it is also safe to assume that the high-profile couple may keep their wedding plans strictly under wraps.
