It’s probably safe to say Penn Badgley has his hands pretty full right now. He and wife Domino Kirke have just welcomed twins! The You star posted a cute video to social media to share the couple’s happy news with fans.
Penn Badgley and Domino Kirke are now parents to twin boys
He may be great at playing a crazed stalker, but Penn Badgley clearly has a softer side. The actor took to Instagram last week to announce the birth of his twin sons, and he’s obviously thrilled. In the short clip, he shares a glimpse of the newborns, saying, “There’s tiny little baby feet right there.” He then whispers, “I don’t want to wake them up.”
The post attracted plenty of well wishes, and also a number of funny comments referencing Penn’s role as a psychopathic killer. One fan wrote “I forget he’s not really in prison”. Another added “Who left the babies with Joe?!”
The Gossip Girl alum has been married to Domino Kirke since 2017, after dating for three years. Domino is a singer and Doula, and the older sister of fellow actress and Girls star Jemima Kirke. The couple share a four-year-old son, and Penn is also step-father to Domino’s son from a previous relationship. The actor famously dated former co-star Blake Lively from 2007 to 2010. He opened up about their relationship earlier this year.
Penn may have wrapped on Netflix show You, but he’s still pretty busy. While he mentioned in the video he is currently on paternity leave, he is also promoting a live event for his podcast as well as a new book, Crushmore. He is also starring in new romcom You Deserve Each Other alongside Sirens star Meghann Fahy. The pair have been enjoying a faux online feud since June to promote the project, which follows an unhappy couple trying to sabotage their own engagement.
