Prince Harry is in the U.K. for a bunch of charity obligations. Monday was a poignant part of his trip, as it marked the third year anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II‘s death. He stopped by her grave to pay his respects.
Queen Elizabeth II’s gravesite was visited by Prince Harry

Prince Harry made sure to honor his grandmother while on his trip to the U.K. He stopped by her gravesite at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor on Monday. A source told People that Harry was left alone to pay his respects to the Queen and to lay flowers.
While this part of his visit probably wasn’t exactly non-stop laughs, the Duke of Sussex is said to be feeling positive about his return to his home country. The source said: “He’s in a really good headspace and looking forward to seeing everyone from his charities and the causes he cares about.”
There’s been much speculation as to whether Harry will take the opportunity to reunite with his family on the trip. A royal expert has said it’s “unlikely” he will meet with King Charles.
Earlier this year, Harry told BBC News that Charles, who is currently battling cancer, won’t talk to him. He said: “I would love a reconciliation with my family. I don’t know how much longer my father has. He won’t speak to me because of this security stuff… but it would be nice to reconcile.”
The security stuff Harry is referring to is a tiff he and the King have been locked in a tiff regarding the Prince’s removal of publicly funded security. While Charles is not directly responsible for the decision, Harry has criticized his father for not intervening or using his influence to reverse the decision.
