Pamela Anderson is speaking out about the reports that her relationship with Liam Neeson was purely for show.
The co-star in the fourth installment of The Naked Gun movie was in France for the 51st Deauville American Film Festival last week. She was in France for the event to accept the Deauville Talent Awards. Pamela gave a passionate speech at the festival, which seemed to be aimed at the rumors that she was trying to create and illusion to the public about her and Liam being a couple.
“I do not and will never feed into PR stunts,” she said. “That would be a death sentence. I’m authentically driven. I’m superstitious when it comes to love. And I’m not comfortable sharing any shred of my romantic life.”
The new Naked Gun movie has an approval rating of over 80% on Rotten Tomatoes, while collecting over $90 million at the box office.

Pamela was on the offensive throughout her time in France last week but also seemed to be speaking from the heart. “I know I’ll fall in love again and again on screen. That is my job. If we do it well, you will feel it, a kind of projection. It is the greatest compliment. So please think positive. And I appreciate your good wishes. There are no silly games being played. I’m sincere,” Pamela said in her speech.
Late last month, reports surfaced that Pamela and Liam had a fake relationship to garner attention. “Do not mistake my kindness for weakness or my boldness for bitterness. I’m here on this journey, not for money or for fame, but to see what I’m made of in truth, hard work, and to leave behind an honest legacy my family can be proud of,” Pamela continued in her speech published on US Weekly.
Following her speech one fan wrote: “@pamelaanderson Your speech was the most inspiring and you were glowing!!”
The actress is currently in a new movie called Place to Be.
