Sydney Sweeney debuts new look in movie posters
Several photos from Sydney Sweeney’s The Housemaid were recently shared on Instagram, offering a sneak peek at the actress’ new look. The pictures were exclusively obtained by PEOPLE.
The photo carousel featured Sweeney and her co-stars Amanda Seyfried, Brandon Sklenar, and Michele Morrone. However, Sweeney was present in most of the photographs, portraying the central character of the housemaid, Millie Calloway.
In the first photo, the Euphoria star can be seen standing near a washbasin in what seems to be a bathroom. She is wearing a dark green tank top and a pair of classic blue jeans. Furthermore, she tied her dirty blonde hair in a bun, letting some loose locks frame her face to complete the look. The mirror above the washbasin showed Sweeney and Seyfried, the latter wearing a white full-sleeve cardigan.
Sweeney was again seen in the third photo. This time, she is standing in front of a dollhouse, with her head turned towards the camera. In the picture, she wore a gray full-sleeve outfit with a stunning ribbed design. The actress also let her waist-length hair loose for the shot, with her locks being styled into soft beachy waves.
The Immaculate star also showed up in the fifth photo. However, the space taken up by her was slightly blurred. In this picture, she again let her hair loose, but sported a different attire: a full-sleeve brown top with what seems like white polka dots.
The Housemaid is set to release in theaters on December 19, 2025. The plot follows Millie, played by Sweeney, who is trying to start her life afresh and escape her past. She is hired as a live-in housemaid for a wealthy couple, Nina and Andrew Winchester (Seyfried and Sklenar). However, things quickly take an ugly turn for Millie.
