A nearly two-year relationship between Benson Boone and Maggie Thurmon has ended.
The break-up occurred earlier this week, and the now-former couple have since unfollowed each other on Instagram, according to the report. Before walking away from the relationship, Maggie had attended a concert the singer/songwriter had in North Carolina on September 7.
Benson is currently on a world tour to promote his album American Heart.

News of the couple’s break-up has hit some fans especially hard.
“Benson Boone and Maggie Thurmon … why?? why … NO …” one fan exclaimed.
One fan added: “Benson Boone and Maggie Thurmon are believed to have separated. Please give both Benson and Maggie the privacy they both deserve and do not speculate about it.”
“Sad for them,” another person added.
US Weekly reached out to Benson and Maggie’s representatives for comments. The relationship between them went public in March 2024 when they attended a viewing party for the Elton John AIDS Foundation’s Academy Awards. By September, the couple were often seen together on red carpets at events like New York Fashion Week and the MTV Music Awards.
“[I love] her whole personality, who she is,” Benson said of Maggie. “She has great parents. She was raised very well. She’s just the sweetest and the kindest. And she’s a beautiful girl, so I can’t help it.”
Every night at one of his shows, Benson has a tradition of singing a surprise cover song of a famous artist. Some of his past favorites were When We Were Young by Adele and Sign of the Times by Harry Styles.
His world tour wraps up on November 18 in Sweden.
