Savannah Chrisley Admits Already ‘Grieving’ Brother Chase; Worries He’s ‘Gonna Die’

If you haven’t been watching The Chrisleys: Back to Reality, we don’t blame you. It’s a lot, and in the latest episode, Savannah Chrisley made a grim prediction about her older brother, Chase Chrisley. She said she’s scared something bad is about to happen to him, so she’s already started mourning his death.

Throughout the Chrisleys’ new Lifetime series, we’ve learned about the fractured relationship between Savannah and Chase. While Savannah fought tooth and nail to get their parents out of jail, Chase ran around getting into trouble. His behavior has Savannah worried for his safety.

“As hard as I am [on him], there is some fear in me that something’s going to happen to Chase, and it’s very valid,” Savannah said during Episode 5. “I mean, just in the way that he looks. Chase is not Chase. It’s literally, like, a blank shell.”

“He’s not who I know as my brother,” she continued. “I feel like I’ve already buried my brother.”

Savannah has started distancing herself from him as a form of “self-protection.” She said she doesn’t want to have a relationship with him, so when he dies, she doesn’t feel as brokenhearted over it. It’s a wild thing to say about your family member on national television, but the Chrisleys never fail to surprise us.

Savannah said, “If something were to happen to him, now I’m closed off enough to where I would be devastated, but I feel like I’ve been trying to grieve the loss of him little by little, so when it happens, it’s not a big bang.”

While Savannah fantasizes about Chase’s death, he has been trying to make improvements in his life. He decided to adopt a sober lifestyle and hasn’t punched anyone lately. However, Savannah is on the show acting like she’s one step away from writing his obituary.

The Chrisleys: Back to Reality airs on Lifetime, Tuesdays at 8/7c.
