There’s a lot going on across the pond, it would seem. Fans in the United States were initially upset they wouldn’t be getting The Real Housewives of London in the US. But it looks like US fans have nothing to fear because the Ladies of London reboot is coming, and Bravo just dropped the new teaser.
Ladies of London: The New Reign is coming soon
Bravo first confirmed the return of Ladies of London last May. The reboot is called Ladies of London: The New Reign. While there is no confirmed list of participants for the show yet, producers have promised a new wave of British blue bloods, American expats, and powerful socialites. Perhaps even a cameo or two by OG Caroline Stanbury, who is now part of The Real Housewives of Dubai?
According to the news, this unique group of ladies showcases what it means to be a woman of status in one of the most iconic cities in the world. And to be fair, the trailer already looks iconic.
The teaser is a mix of purple and pink hues. It cuts between shots of famous London landmarks and symbols, and shots of the cast (without their full faces) swishing both hair and dresses fabulously. The shots also feature more than one really low-front-cut dress.
It concludes with shots of a pink and purple-hued tea service set, accompanied by the words, “Over here, the tea hits different.” And then the words “Coming soon.”
The video is captioned, “Spilling tea just happens to be our specialty. Ladies of London: The New Reign coming soon.” There is no indicator of how soon is soon, but it’s definitely exciting. Fans have been wanting to see this show back since it went off the air in 2017.
As for tea, it looks like it’s already started spilling. Ladies of London alum Juliet Agnus commented on the teaser and said, “LOL, the announcement drops on the day my episode of Real Housewives of London airs on Hayu. Coincidence?”
Maybe or maybe not. Either way, despite being similar, there is no reason why RHOLDN and Ladies of London can’t co-exist. At the very least, we’re about to get some juicy London drama!
