At the Kansas City Chiefs vs Philadelphia Eagles game last weekend, she seemed to be traveling through the Arrowhead Stadium behind a bulletproof screen. A video posted on social media claimed to show the singer escorted by security guards behind a portable barrier. According to TMZ, the barrier in question is a bullet-resistant shield partition that costs around $6,000.
If it’s definitely Taylor, her sudden insistence on arriving so discreetly and with bulletproof protection suggests she may have safety concerns. Could it be the public shooting of Charlie Kirk has made the singer more concerned about security risks facing public figures like her?
The Shake It Off singer has had several scary incidents with stalkers over the years. She has previously opened up about her fear of becoming an assassination target.
In an essay she wrote for Elle in 2019, she explained: “My fear of violence has continued into my personal life. I carry QuikClot army grade bandage dressing, which is for gunshot or stab wounds. Websites and tabloids have taken it upon themselves to post every home address I’ve ever had online. You get enough stalkers trying to break into your house and you kind of start prepping for bad things.”
