A new video of Tyla joining in the viral KATSEYE Gap dance trend has gone viral on social media. A recent video showed the “Water” singer performing the KATSEYE Gap Dance trend. The video was accompanied by audio of Doja Cat’s “MOOO!”, which she lip-synched to.

In the footage shared on X (formerly Twitter), Tyla wore a white full-sleeve crop top and blue denim shorts with thick frayed strands. She accessorized with spectacles, red strand earrings with multi-color decorations, and a necklace.

Moreover, the 23-year-old songstress styled the top part of her hair in small dreads and let the lower portion flow in smooth waves with slight twirls.

The Grammy winner’s dance sparked a variety of reactions, with several users praising her choreography. “She dances very well and is very flexible,” one user wrote. Meanwhile, another asked, “How’s she this pretty?” “Slaying that Gap ad choreography! Tyla’s energy is unmatched,” another added.

Meanwhile, one fan expressed excitement about the possibility of Tyla’s collaborations with Doja Cat and KATSEYE in the future. They wrote, “Ok but both a KATSEYE and Doja Cat collab are in Tyla’s future.”

However, there were also some negative responses to Tyla’s dance. “She’s such a try-hard,” one user commented. Furthermore, another even called her an “attention seeker.”

The KATSEYE Gap Dance trend originated with the “Better in Denim” ad campaign video, released on August 19, 2025. It promoted the return of low-rise denim and Long & Lean Jeans. To celebrate their collaboration with the girl group, GAP released a limited-edition hoodie that had the KATSEYE logo. This hoodie costs $70 according to the official website.
