The milestone Season 20 of America’s Got Talent (AGT) is heating up, and judge Sofía Vergara is matching the energy with her style. Despite recently battling an eye infection that kept her away from the Emmys, the actress and TV personality showed up to AGT in a bold, head-turning corset that had fans talking.
Sofia Vergara stuns in corset top for AGT
Sofia Vergara shared her latest look on Instagram, giving followers a closer glimpse of her glamorous black corset dress. The embellished piece featured a daring neckline, which she balanced out with minimal accessories — just a pair of silver earrings and a couple of sparkling diamond rings. Her soft, wavy, long hair also complemented the sleek ensemble.
In additional photos, Vergara posed with her fellow AGT judges Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, and Mel B, as well as host Terry Crews.
She also posted a playful picture with a dog, showing off her lighter, fun-loving side between the intense competition rounds.
Sofia Vergara’s dazzling AGT appearance came shortly after she revealed why she missed the 2025 Emmy Awards on September 14. While A-listers filled the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles for television’s biggest night, Vergara instead found herself at the emergency room.
“Didnt [Didn’t] make it to the Emmys but made it to the ER,” she wrote on Instagram, alongside a photo showing her swollen, irritated eye. She later explained that a sudden “craziest” eye allergy forced her to cancel her plans at the last minute. The Modern Family alum even shared videos from the hospital, including one where she rinsed her eye at a wash station.
Although Vergara wasn’t nominated this year, she had been scheduled to present the award for lead actor in a limited or anthology series or movie. That honor eventually went to Stephen Graham, introduced on stage by Brittany Snow and Malin Åkerman. The night was a major success for shows like The Studio, which won best comedy series, and HBO Max’s The Pitt, which took home the top prize for best drama series.
