Now, she is all well and has returned to the sets of “America’s Got Talent.” She was all smiles at work in the recent pictures from the season 20 semi-finals.

Sofia Vergara’s ER visit recently left her fans worried. She suffered a serious eye infection and was rushed to the emergency room. It happened on the day of the 2025 Primetime Emmy Awards. Hence, the Hollywood bombshell missed the prestigious event. But she didn’t take long to recover and got back to work as soon as her allergies went away.
On September 16, the 53-year-old shared a photo from the sets of “America’s Got Talent.” She appeared at work to film the semi-finals of season 20 at Hotel Dena in Pasadena, California. She looked gorgeous in a strapless black outfit with shimmery stars stitched all over it. Along with her dress, she went for a nude yet slightly bold makeup for the special night.
In the caption of her post, she mentioned that she is “back at work!” Fans were relieved to see their favorite actor recover from the infection. A user wrote, “Glad your eye is better,” while another commented, “Glad you’re feeling/looking better.” At the time of writing, the photo has received over 56K likes.
Earlier, the “AGT” judge shared her medical emergency story on her social media. She posted a selfie, showing that her eye had gotten infected. In the caption, she mentioned, “Didnt make it to the Emmys but made it to the ER.” Furthermore, the “Hot Pursuit” star apologized to her 35.8 million followers as she cancelled her plan to attend the Emmys. “Sorry I had to cancel! Craziest eye allergie [sic] right before getting in the car!,” she wrote.
