Headlining Coachella will pay handsomely for Justin Bieber, literally.
The Canadian singer/songwriter was among the many musical acts to be added to the California music festivals lineup next year. It seems like signing him, however, wasn’t cheap. His reported salary may seem high, but according to reports, it is in line with top headliners at the festival.
This feels like the continuation of Justin’s resurgence into the music scene. He released a new album earlier this year called Swag, his first since Justice came out in 2021.
Justin Bieber will receive $10 million for headlining Coachella
Justin Bieber’s negotiation skills are apparently pretty strong. He managed to get himself a reported fee of $10 million to headline Coachella.
“It’s a groundbreaking move for a headliner, and it’s something he built entirely on his own,” a source told Rolling Stone. Justin’s gift of gab is evidently quite powerful, sweet-talking the festival’s promoter, Goldenvoice, into paying him the big bucks. His fee will apparently be split into two payments of $5 million, one for each weekend of the event.
Justin hasn’t had a manager to negotiate deals for him since parting ways with Scooter Braun in 2023 after nearly 15 years together. Scooter retired from the music business last year.
Next year’s Coachella will mark Justin’s first live performance in the United States since his Justice World Tour in 2022. “His 2026 Coachella performance won’t just be a headlining set, but a once-in-a-generation spectacle from a once-in-a-generation pop icon,” the source continued.
Justin has been a guest performer at the spring festival before, but next year will mark the first time he has a solo act. Among the other big names on the concert bill are Sabrina Carpenter and Karol G.
Coachella 2026 takes place April 10-12 and April 17-19 at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California.
