She recently made an appearance on a podcast, where she debunked her former co-star KJ Apa’s statement about actors hooking up with each other while filming a young adult show, citing his own time from The CW show as an example.

The 31-year-old actress set the record straight about her stint on the popular teen mystery drama series.
On the Wednesday, September 17 episode of the Call Her Daddy podcast, Madelaine Petsch categorically stated that she did not have an affair with any of the cast members of Riverdale. She emphatically denied KJ Apa’s previous claims that young actors cannot resist each other when part of the same ensemble cast on a popular young adult series.

While speaking generally of young adult shows, The Last Summer star confirmed that he lost his virginity while filming Riverdale. He was quoted as saying to Entertainment Weekly, “I was a virgin when I started on that show, too, for the first couple of years. I was a proud Christian boy. I was.”
Now, Petsch has unequivocally denied KJ Apa’s claims with her own solid statement. She said that she did not “touch a single person on that show with a 10-foot pole.” To re-emphasise her said statement, the Sightless actress spoke again, emphatically, “I did not f**k a single person on Riverdale. I never touched them. That’s what happened. Thank you for coming to my TED Talk.”
Although Madelaine Petsch did not explicitly mention KJ Apa’s name or the Entertainment Weekly article on the podcast, her statement clearly alludes to that. Moreover, when the host tried to probe her further, she stood firm on her ground. Petsch denied that she ever f****d any of the cast members of the show. She said, “I don’t claim that s**t at all,” The Strangers: Chapter 1 star stated bluntly.
Furthermore, Petsch denied ever getting into a relationship with any of her other co-stars from her other projects. She stated, “I don’t mix business with pleasure.” Petsch also jokingly revealed that Cole Sprouse advised her not to hook up with any of their co-stars while filming Riverdale. The statement garnered laughs from the host.
