Melania Trump Focused on Outshining Princess Diana During Her UK Visit, Says Source

Besides attending the State Banquet dinner, Melania Trump reportedly has her own goal of outshining Princess Diana during her visit to the United Kingdom with President Donald Trump. The First Lady, along with the President of the United States of America, arrived in London on Tuesday for their official state visit. Melania has since taken out three equally unique and stunning outfits for a fashion run. But a source claimed she aims to outdress the late princess.

Rob Shuter #ShuterScoop learned about Melania Trump’s intentions to establish herself on the same level as Princess Diana in terms of fashion. Insiders reportedly believe she has had her eyes on the prize from the start of her and President Donald Trump’s three-day stay in the U.K. for their second-ever official state visit. They arrived at the London Stansted Airport on Tuesday, marking the start of her style streak.

The First Lady wore a tan Burberry trench for her arrival in the city. She then wore a formal, tailored skirtsuit, comprising a pencil skirt and a structured coat, pairing it with one of her dramatic, wide-brim purple hats. Melania’s look, while visiting Windsor Castle on the second day, allegedly drew comparisons to outfits the late princess often wore. Later, she slipped into a canary yellow, off-shoulder gown for the State Banquet with King Charles and Queen Camilla.

Shuter’s source alleged that Melania Trump’s wardrobe choices were intentional to be Princess Diana-level “unforgettable.” Moreover, she wanted to send out a message that “she’s not just a First Lady, she’s style royalty.” The insider believes Melania “doesn’t need Vogue’s blessing” and “has the biggest stage in the world.” Palace staff chimed in that these looks were the “warm-up,” calling her banquet gown the “real moment.”
