Victoria Beckham Reacts to ‘Miserable Cow’ Accusations: ‘Don’t Be Shocked…’

Victoria Beckham has a new show coming to Netflix, and we’re definitely intrigued. The trailer dropped yesterday, offering a glimpse of what’s in store. And the artist formerly known as Posh Spice is giving us an in-depth look at her life. Turns out, she may not be as uptight as she seems.

Victoria Beckham has a new Netflix documentary

The last Beckham series on Netflix gave us plenty of fun moments – remember when husband David Beckham outed Victoria for lying about having a humble upbringing? So, we’re hopeful this new doc will deliver.

And if the trailer is anything to go by, it will. In the clip, Victoria admits “People thought I was that miserable cow that never smiled,” before adding “But I do. Don’t be shocked.”

The fashion icons also says: “I have never forgotten where I come from,” (David might disagree). She adds: “Performing was my dream. The Spice Girls made me accept who I am. And then all of a sudden, it stopped.”

Revealing the catalyst for her move into fashion, she said: “The uncool kid at school that’s awkward, that was me. But I desperately wanted to be liked, have a sense of worth. Fashion was this creative outlet.”

The documentary promises a behind-the-scenes look at Victoria’s “most ambitious runway show yet at Paris Fashion Week.”

The three-part series will also cover her childhood, time in the Spice Girls, and her marriage to soccer star David.

David also takes a few breaks from gardening to feature in the show. Marc Jacobs, Anna Wintour and Eva Longoria are also set to appear. While it’s unclear if the Beckham kids will be in the doc, oldest son Brooklyn is unlikely to make a cameo. He reportedly remains estranged from his parents following a rift that is said to have started soon after his wedding to Nicola Peltz.
