Prince Andrew isn’t the only royal with links to Jeffrey Epstein. Recent emails from Sarah Ferguson to the convicted sex offender show the pair were close friends. A number of charities have responded to the correspondence by cutting ties with the Duchess.
The Duchess of York has been dropped by a children’s hospice charity after email to Jeffrey Epstein

We all know about Prince Andrew’s links to Epstein, and it seems he and ex-wife Fergie share the same very questionable ethics. Recent emails obtained by the Daily Mail reveal that the Duchess of York considered Epstein a very close friend.
Despite publicly disowning him following his first conviction, Fergie wrote the billionaire an email full of praise in 2011. She apologized for renouncing him, explaining she had been told to do so in order to save her career as a children’s author. She described him as a “steadfast, generous and supreme friend”, signing the letter off with “Sometimes the heart speaks better than the words. You have my heart. With lots of love, dear Jeffrey.”
The resurfacing of the emails led a number of organizations to cut ties with the Duchess. Six charities, including the Children’s Literacy Charity, the Teenage Cancer Trust and the British Heart Foundation, said that Fergie is no longer a patron.
It was also revealed that Epstein had given Sarah money to help her avoid bankruptcy.
A spokesperson for the Duchess claimed that she had sent the email to stop Epstein suing her. Allegedly, the convicted sex offender had threatened litigation over her earlier comments linking him to sexual abuse.
Sarah was spotted leaving Windsor Castle with Prince Andrew via Range Rover on Monday. Despite being divorced since 1996, the pair live together at Royal Lodge in Windsor.
Speaking to the Sunday Times in December 2024, the Duchess said spoke very highly of her ex: “I was totally and utterly in love with Andrew. I would do it all over again, 100 percent. He’s the best, a great man with a great heart, and kind.”
