Julia Louis-Dreyfus’s cute little family puppy stole the spotlight when the comedian-actor arrived in a new episode of the talk show, “Jimmy Kimmel Live“, with her. The furry baby made the show’s host and the audience members very happy with her presence. Soon, the “Seinfeld” star revealed the pup’s name, which is Ethel. She then went on to share some details about the fur baby.

Julia Louis-Dreyfus said, “I want you to meet Ethel. She is my sister and her family’s puppy. She’s three months old.” After that, the actor-comedian explained the reason why she decided to bring Ethel with her on the show.

While addressing the host, Jimmy Kimmel, she expressed, “I thought it’s been so crazy this last week. That to be with a puppy might do you some good.” Last week, ABC pulled the show “Jimmy Kimmel Live” off the air abruptly. However, it made its return on September 23. The comedian and actor then handed the puppy over to the host, who held her affectionately.

In the meantime, Julia Louis-Dreyfus also made a statement during the show’s episode. The “Veep” actor humorously explained why Ethel wanted to come to the talk show. She said, “She particularly wanted to come on because she’s a huge fan of the First Amendment.”

In response to that, Jimmy Kimmel playfully noted that “A lot of dogs nowadays really love free speech.” After that, the comedian-actor expressed her heartfelt love and respect for her friend, Jimmy Kimmel. “I think what you have done in this last week has been brave and powerful,” she added.
