Matthew McConaughey has opted to go pantless to promote his business venture. The Academy Award winner dropped his pants for a newly released photoshoot tied to Pantalones Organic Tequila, the brand he co-created with wife Camila McConaughey.
In the playful campaign image, the actor appears in a tailored suit jacket and tie, but no trousers. Seated at his desk, McConaughey seems busy at work with a margarita close at hand. He paired his business attire with black and green checkered socks along with black formal shoes.
The image was also shared by Pantalones Organic Tequila, with the caption, “Business casual.” Fans quickly took to the comment section with humorous replies. One user wrote, “On this day,the spirit is, ‘No Pantalones Tequila.’” Another added, “New motto: less grind, more good times.” A third person, “This is Matthew right. Matthew and Camila McConaughey introduced the tequila as the “Official Tequila of Takin’ Care of Business.” Produced with 100 percent Blue Weber agave, Pantalones Organic Tequila is expanding its reach this fall through a partnership with OTG, which will make signature cocktails available at eight of the nation’s busiest airports. Travelers passing through hubs like Denver International and John F. Kennedy International will be able to purchase signature drinks such as the Q3 Forecast Margarita or the Bottom Line Bloody Mary.
In addition to McConaughey’s solo image, another promotional shot features both Matthew and Camila raising glasses of tequila, again without pants. On the Pantalones website, the couple shared the story of how the idea for the tequila originated, describing it as “a twist of tequila fate.”
