Chris and Kay Kay sat down with US Weekly following their recent exit from Love Island Games. These two formed quite a connection during filming. And even now, they remain on the same page about their experiences this season. Their stances track, since both had less-than-perfect exits during their seasons on the original series, Love Island USA.

For Kay Kay, her main goal this season was “to represent who I am today vs. who I was two years ago. The first time, I stuck to one person — and I really stuck to that person. This time, I was like, “You know what? I’ve got to explore my options,” she explained, noting that she feels “like I did that” this time around.

As for Chris, “This time, I wanted to have my own path and direct it the way I wanted to go.” So, he entered these games “with that competitive mindset and focusing on the things I wanted to focus on, which is trying to get to that money. Although it didn’t work out in my favor,” he stressed, he still feels “proud of how my whole experience went.”

But where do these two currently stand? As Kay Kay answered, there are “no labels or pressure yet. We’re just taking it as it comes and still getting to know each other.” Chris agrees, saying that their future together is “looking good. But like she said, no labels and no pressure.”

Chris also revealed that his “finger is doing better.” Likewise, neither has any bad vibes about their exit during Love Island Games Season 2.

Love Island Games continues every Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday on Peacock at 9/8 EST.
