Alexia Nepola is going into the Real Housewives of Miami reunion with a “big heart and an open mind.” Season 7 came to a dramatic end on Thursday, September 25. The final episode, titled, “Frosty Friendships” captured how fractured the RHOM group has become. Tempers flared, feuds deepened, and little resolution was made. Reality Tea got the chance to chat with Alexia about the finale and the upcoming reunion at Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea Awards earlier this month. Here’s what she had to say about the future of Real Housewives of Miami…
Alexia Nepola loves the RHOM cast, despite their differences
Alexia told us she felt there was unfinished business with the cast after filming the finale.
“This year our finale was very interesting,” she explained. “I feel like it needs to be continued. It felt unfinished. I was like, ‘Wait? It’s over?’ You guys are going to have that same feeling.”
Reunions provide an opportunity for the cast to come together and move towards resolution, but Alexia isn’t sure the women are interested in peace.
“I feel like a lot of girls show up to the reunion not wanting resolution,” she said. “They want to keep fighting, and fighting, and fighting. I’m done. I want to show up to the reunion with a big heart and an open mind.”
Despite the drama, Alexia assured us there is a lot of love between the RHOM ladies.
“I know we’ve had our differences, she said. “I know at this point people may think, ‘Oh, you’re crazy, you all hate each other.’ But Miami has a very unique cast. We have our blow-ups, our moments, we insult each other, but at the same time, we love each other.”
She continued, “We’re real friends. Maybe we didn’t start out that way. We just started out as colleagues. But in the end, we ended up liking each other. You can tell there is real history there and real friendship.”
