The end is in sight for the Diddy case. The disgraced media mogul will receive his sentence later this week. His ex-girlfriend Cassie, who testified against him, has urged the judge to opt for a lengthy sentence. In a poignant letter, she described the musician as “cruel, power-hungry,” and “manipulative”.
Cassie wrote a letter to the judge ahead of Diddy’s sentencing

Diddy will receive his sentence in NYC on Friday. Prosecutors are pushing for a minimum term of 11 years. One person who is likely to support a long sentence is Cassie. The singer has written a letter to judge encouraging a stringent punishment. Diddy was found guilty on the charges of transporting people across state lines for prostitution.
In the letter, obtained by TMZ, Cassie writes that Diddy had “used violence, threats, substances, and control over my career to trap me in over a decade of abuse. He groomed me into performing repeated sex acts with hired male sex workers during multi-day “freak offs,” which occurred nearly weekly.”
She added: “Over the nearly eleven years we were together, Sean Combs would hit me, punch me, stomp on my face, pull my hair, and throw my body to the ground and against the wall.”
Cassie said that Diddy controlled her by using violence as well as threatening to leak sex tapes. She wrote: “he also threatened people around me and those close to me, including my family. I regularly worried that displeasing him meant putting my family and friends’ safety at risk.”
She finished the letter by saying she hoped the judge’s “sentencing decision reflects the strength it took for victims of Sean Combs to come forward” and “considers the many lives that Sean Combs has upended with his abuse and control.”
