Julia Lemigova is opening up about “painful” Season 7 of Real Housewives of Miami. Reality Tea had the chance to chat with Julia about the upcoming reunion at Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea Awards, which took place earlier this month. The RHOM star spoke candidly about her difficult year, telling us she wasn’t quite herself this season.
Julia Lemigova described her “difficult year” and “emotional” RHOM Season 7

Julia found herself steeped in conflict this season. Her fractured friendship with co-star Adriana de Moura was a major storyline in Season 7, making her one of the most talked about Bravo stars in the last few months. In our interview, Julia spoke about how her family life affected her friendships this season, telling us she was operating from a place of fear.
“It was a difficult year for me despite the joy of having my boys. I had the fear of losing them because the adoption was not finalized,” she explained. “I was not really myself, I was scared about losing them.”
“Sometimes to get to a better place you need to go through some pain,” she added. “It was emotionally very difficult.”
Julia shared that she went into the Season 7 reunion seeking clarity with the other women.
“I thought, I want clarity, I want to clear things with Adriana,” she said. “I went to the reunion without overthinking because I knew I had a very difficult, emotional season.”
Despite having a difficult season, Julia told us she doesn’t regret sharing her life on television.
“When I joined the show, I knew what I was signing up for,” she said. “You have to have a certain self-awareness, and you have to be ready. I’m not embellishing for the cameras. I’m saying it the same way whether cameras are on or off.”
Real Housewives of Miami airs Wednesdays at 9/8c on Bravo. It streams on Hayu in the UK and Ireland.
