According to a recent report by Rob Shuter, Selena Gomez insisted on signing a prenuptial agreement with husband Benny Blanco before their wedding. Insider sources have claimed that the star wanted to protect her billion-dollar business empire.
This includes her music catalog, real estate investments, and most notably, her mega successful beauty brand, Rare Beauty. Thus, Gomez and Blanco took the mutual decision to sign the prenup before exchanging their wedding vows.
“This wasn’t optional,” a source shared. “Selena built everything from the ground up. The prenup was about respect, not suspicion,” they further clarified.
Furthermore, Benny Blanco, who is also worth over $50 million, did not hesitate to sign the agreement as well. “He was fully on board. He loves her, and he respects what she’s achieved. There was zero drama,” another insider revealed.
Gomez and Blanco announced their engagement on December 11, 2024, a year after they began dating. On September 27, 2025, the “People You Know” singer tied the knot with Blanco in a fairytale wedding. Gomez shared a gallery of photos from the ceremony on her Instagram, captioning it, “? 9.27.25 ?.”
