Kai Trump, the granddaughter of U.S. President Donald Trump, has unveiled a new clothing line that has quickly sparked controversy. The daughter of Donald Trump Jr. and Vanessa Trump introduced her $130 signature sweatshirt, branded with a “KT” logo, in a promotional video filmed at the White House. She also wore the sweatshirt while attending the Ryder Cup with her grandfather.

The debut immediately drew comparisons from fans of Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce. Supporters of the NFL player were quick to point out that Kai’s “KT” logo looked strikingly similar to the “TK” branding used in Tru Kolors, Kelce’s sports apparel line.

Addressing the launch on Instagram, the 17-year-old wrote, “This collection is something I’ve dreamed about for a long time, and I’m so grateful it’s finally here. Launching this line has been such an exciting project.”

On social media, critics accused Kai Trump of copying Travis Kelce’s branding, with some pointing out that her logo resembled “TK” more closely than her actual initials. Others raised concerns about her decision to use federal property for her promotional campaign.

One user wrote on X (formerly Twitter), “Using our White House to promote your new clothing line is not only a bad idea, but you are also copying Travis’s Kelce’s logo.” Another added, “Hey, Travis @tkelce^^ I believe you already have this brand logo patent? Her logo looks exactly like yours. Get the lawsuit papers coming!! Yes, I’m mad as hell at their corruption and using the presidency and the people’s house to profit on my dime!”
