The son of Dog the Bounty Hunter is no longer a police officer.
Garry Chapman was let go by the Priceville Police Department in Alabama following a high-speed car crash, which ended in tragedy. One person died in the incident, while six people were sent to the hospital.
Before this incident, the son of the former TV personality had a clean record as a police officer without any disciplinary issues. In early September, it was revealed that all officers involved in the chase were on administrative leave.
Dog the Bounty Hunter’s police officer son Garry Chapman has been fired

Garry has appointed an attorney to combat the firing. Speaking to local news outlet WHNT, Garry’s lawyer Scott Morro called his client an exceptional officer. “He (Garry) is their top police officer even though he has only been there a short period of time,” said Scott.
According to Scott, the suspect in the chase, Archie Hale, was impaired with fentanyl and transporting the substance when 17-year-old Tristan Hollis died. Scott is accusing Police Chief Jerry Holmes and Mayor Sam Heflin of giving in to social media pressure. The Mayor upheld Jerry’s decision to terminate Garry. “Officer Chapman is one of the most articulate and knowledgeable officers I have ever represented,” said Scott.
Garry had previously been featured on the police department’s social media page back in April. In July, Dog the Bounty Hunter’s step-grandson, Anthony Zecca, was shot dead in a freak accident.
Garry intends to create his own legacy in the field of law enforcement, according to his attorney. Before Dog the Bounty Hunter, his dad, Duane Chapman, had served as a bail bondsman.
