Josh manages d4vd, real name David Burke. The singer has become embroiled in an investigation into the death of 14-year-old Celeste. Investigators found her body in a car registered to him.
The manager has also been the subject of speculation. According to Los Angeles Magazine, a private investigator said loved ones emailed Josh in 2024, fearing Celeste was with d4vd. Allegedly, one day later, the teen returned home. It was reported that Josh broke the lease to a home d4vd was staying in soon after Celeste’s body was found.
In a TikTok video addressing the rumors, Josh commented it was “false and the person is misinformed.” He wrote: “I received no emails and I’m no one’s room mate. I live full time at home with my wife and kids. I had zero knowledge of anything and I don’t live in California.”
He distanced himself from the singer, writing: “I work remotely 95% of the time and my job doesn’t require me to have much interaction with any of my clients/David.” He added: “there are many others that work with him on a day to day capacity, not me.”
Josh confirmed to Los Angeles Magazine that he made the comment on the video.
Police said it was “very likely” that Celeste had been dead weeks before her body was found. Investigators have not named singer d4vd as a suspect in the case.
