Nicole Kidman’s old comment about liking Jimmy Fallon is making rounds on the internet

Footage of Nicole Kidman’s 2015 interview with Jimmy Fallon has resurfaced amid the former’s divorce from Keith Urban.

In the interview, Fallon reminded the Babygirl actress that they had met before and asked if she remembered. She responded with a chuckle, “I do remember.” The late-night host recalled their interaction as an “embarrassing” time for him, while Kidman noted she hadn’t seen Fallon since that meeting, which he confirmed.

Fallon asked if he could tell his version of the story, to which Kidman agreed while laughing. He explained how he had been strolling in New York City when he got a call from his friend Rick. Rick told him Kidman wanted to meet him and that she would be at his apartment in 10 minutes. Fallon then recalled trying to prepare for the meeting by finding something they could eat, while Kidman smiled and chuckled during his recollection of the event.

“I just remember I liked you,” the Oscar winner told Fallon. “Not now, I’m married now!” She continued, recalling Rick saying, “‘Oh, Jimmy wants to see you, and you can go over to his apartment,’ and I’m single, and I’m like: ‘Ok, yeah, cool!'”

Kidman’s response shocked Fallon. Unable to wrap his head around it, he asked, “Wait… What are you talking about?! Did I date Nicole Kidman? Did we go on a date?!”

Kidman recalled that Fallon was naked and only wearing a baseball cap at the time of their meeting. She noted that he didn’t talk to her and instead played a video game. As she spoke, Fallon fell off his chair and blushed. “It was bad,” she remarked. She added that she thought he had no interest in her, which Fallon said he had no clue about, making her think he was gay.

Fallon later lay on the sofa, remarking how he had fumbled his chance with Kidman. However, she reminded him to look on the bright side and pointed out that they were both married with kids.
