Princess Anne is one of the most respected royals thanks to her strong work ethic and sense of duty. But her sterling reputation is apparently annoying one member of the family. According to palace insiders, Prince Andrew is sick of the constant praise for his sister.
Princess Anne is said to be “driving Prince Andrew up the wall”

Let’s be real, no member of the British royal family has a squeaky clean public image. But Princess Anne has developed a reputation for being hardworking and dependable.
But, as we all know, the same can’t be said for her brother. And in true younger sibling style, Prince Andrew is said to be fed up of Anne making him look bad.
The difference between the pair is pretty notable. Despite being 75 years old, Anne has continued to stick to a busy schedule of public duties. She clocked in at 474 engagements in 2024, topping every other royal. And she did all this despite a concussion from being kicked by a horse (we’ve all been there).
As one long-term acquaintance said, “Anne doesn’t see leisure as important – she simply keeps working without fuss.”
Andrew, on the other hand, has been a source of shame for the family, racking up scandal after scandal.
Clearly, this difference hasn’t gone unnoticed by the Prince. A palace insider said: “Anne represents everything the monarchy is supposed to stand for – hard work and respect. For Andrew, who has lost all of that, it’s a bitter pill to swallow,” per Radar Online.
Another insider described Anne as “modest, witty, and devoted to service.” The source said: “Those are qualities Andrew doesn’t have, and he’s painfully aware of it. It stings and is, quite frankly, driving him up the wall.”
Anne has earned a reputation for being exceptionally tough. After an attempted kidnapping in 1974, she reportedly brushed off the armed assailant with a “Not bloody likely.”
