Suggestions that d4vd had anything to do with the death of a teenage girl appear to be lacking one key element.
The singer, born David Anthony Burke, has been in the public eye for all the wrong reasons lately. Police discovered heavily decomposed human remains in a Tesla register under his name last month. The medical examiner identified the body as that of Celeste Rivas Hernandez. While it appears very incriminating on the surface, one criminal defence attorney doesn’t believe there is a strong case against d4vd right now.
Alexandra Kazarian says there’s no evidence linking d4vd to the girl’s death. Celeste’s body was discovered a day after her 15th birthday.

While he appears to be out of trouble for now, the singer of songs like Here with Me would be wise to do one thing, according to Alexandra. “He better be shutting his mouth. He better be absolutely quiet,” Alexandre told NewsNation.
He’s got an attorney who will likely advise him to do just that. He recently hired Blair Berk, a top criminal defence attorney that’s previously represented Harvey Weinstein, Lindsay Lohan and Kanye West.
There are still several unknowns in this case. There is no official cause of death, with Celeste’s death certificate simply saying deferred. The investigation remains ongoing, but no arrests have been made, and no suspects have been identified.
Meanwhile, it seems there isn’t any public information to connect d4vd to the death for now. When the girls body was found in the trunk of d4vd’s car, the brands Crocs and Hollister Co. removed any promotional content featuring him.
His first album, Withered, came out earlier this year.
