JoJo Siwa kicked a couple of fans out of her concert last week after she took offense to a hoodie they’d brought. In a video posted to social media, one of the disappointed fans explained what led to the incident. While no one would accuse JoJo of being rock’n’roll, it all feels a bit overdramatic.
JoJo Siwa kicked a fan out of her show for wearing an offensive hoodie
Things took a rather dramatic turn at a JoJo Siwa show on October 1. In a video posted to TikTok, the singer can be seen asking security to remove a couple of fans. The fans attended the show in Glasgow, Scotland, with a hoodie with the a photo of the singer’s face as an egg, seemingly mocking her hairline.
The meme has been widely circulated online in recent years, with fans pointing out that JoJo herself has previously shared it on Instagram. Clearly the singer is over the joke now, though. After getting security to eject the fans, she announced to the crowd: “You’re not going to come to my concert and bring a hoodie making fun of me. No way! No way, man! Thank you for coming, I appreciate it! But we’ve only got room for infinity hearts in here, right? Not in my house, baby.”
One of the fans in questions has since made a TikTok video describing the incident. She explained that the pair didn’t have any merch to wear to the concert, so they decided to just print out a picture and stick it on their clothes.
The fan claims they thought JoJo would be in on the joke. She said: “JoJo has a good sense of humor, so she’ll laugh as well. So we just Googled ‘funny JoJo Siwa picture and screenshotted the first thing that came up.”
Clearly, the hairline meme triggered JoJo’s insecurities. The Dance Moms alum previously opened up about the bullying she faced as a child.
