Lots of people around the world are crazy about the British royals. But there’s collecting monarchy-related mugs, and then there’s following Prince Harry around the world. According to reports, the Duke’s stalker came shockingly close to him during his visit to the UK – and that’s only half of it.
The stalker had previously followed Prince Harry and Meghan Markle around the world
Being famous definitely has its drawbacks, and putting up with obsessive fans has to be up there. Prince Harry has a number of stalkers, and of them got pretty close while he was in his home country.
According to media reports, the woman somehow got her way into a “secure zone” at a hotel where Harry was attending the WellChild Awards.
Just a couple of days later, she was at it again – this time turning up at the Centre for Blast Injury Studies to see the Prince. There was no police presence, but thankfully she is said to have been stopped by one of Harry’s employees.
The woman previously traveled all over the world in the hope of interacting with the Prince, including flying to Nigeria last summer.
The stalker is just one of many people known to be crazed fans of the Prince. His personal security team is said to have a list made by an intel company.
Harry and Meghan Markle have also had people show up at their home in California. In 2023, a man caught lurking outside was caught by the couple’s private security and later arrested by the police. He later admitted to the Sun that he may have been high at the time.
It’s kind of understandable why the Prince is so upset about his security being cut by the UK government.
