Being dissed publicly is not something Travis Kelce’s ex-girlfriend appreciates.
Kayla Nicole admits that online trolls often get to her, and it’s something she is always fearful of. Travis’ fiancée, Taylor Swift, may have taken a subtle jab at Kayla in her album The Life of a Showgirl. Kayla says she obsesses over her social media. She says that she is always “terrified of my comments, terrified of my DMs.”
Travis and Kayla broke up around 2023, with the Kansas City Chiefs tight end dating Taylor not long after that.

Being subjected to online trolls is something Kayla is accustomed to, but it doesn’t mean it’s easy to handle.
On the latest episode of her podcast, The Pre-Game, she says, “I don’t want to care, I don’t want to look.” If people are going to throw shade on her, she asks: “Please do it [in comments] so I can pay a bill around here,” she said. “Especially if it’s a branded post.”
Fans believe that Kayla is the subject of Taylor’s song Opalite on her latest album. “You couldn’t understand it, why you felt alone / You were in it for real, she was in her phone / And you were just a pose,” are some of the lyrics to that tune. Fans will recall when Travis and Kayla were an item, and the latter was on her phone during a date with him, despite the NFL star pleading for her not to be.
Kayla goes on to add that her online presence at the moment in anything but positive. She has said that she does not compare herself to other women.
Taylor and Travis became engaged in September. The singer’s new album, The Life of a Showgirl, was released on Friday.
