Travis Kelce recently praised Blake Lively amid the latter’s supposed fallout with her former bestie and the NFL star’s fiancée, Taylor Swift. Travis recently appeared on his podcast, “New Heights,” with his brother, Jason Kelce. The duo reviewed the 2005 hit, “The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants,” starring Lively.
Although she seemed not to be on good terms with Swift lately, the singer’s fiancé didn’t hold back in lauding the actor’s work. The Kelce brothers referred to the “Gossip Girl” alum as their “friend” and stated that she had “good endurance” in the movie.
Travis and Jason Kelce cannot stop praising Blake Lively on New Heights podcast
Taylor Swift’s fiancé, Travis Kelce, and his brother, Jason, couldn’t stop gushing over Blake Lively in the first episode of “New Heights Film Club.” This has gained massive attention online because of the ongoing drama between Taylor Swift and the actor.
The Kelce brothers picked “The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants” as their first movie to review and praised the character named Bridget Vreeland, played by Lively. “It is also the film debut of our friend Blake Lively. She killed it. Absolutely wonderful as Bridget,” Jason said.
Agreeing to it, Travis mentioned that he might be a “little biased” because he found Bridget’s story “relatable.” They continued the discussion and took a dig at the actor’s poor form as an athlete.
While Jason poked fun at Lively’s running, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end defended her. He praised the 38-year-old, saying it was “impressive” how she ran while delivering her dialogues. “She has good endurance, though, because to be running like that and to be talking,” he added.
Travis applauding Lively on his podcast has made headlines. For those unversed, the footballer’s fiancée, Taylor Swift, and the “Age of Adaline” star had been best friends for a long time. However, their dynamic allegedly changed after “The Life of a Showgirl” artist’s name was dragged into Lively and Justin Baldoni’s legal drama.
