Max Ehrich reportedly arrested for an alleged domestic violence incident
Law enforcement sources told TMZ that Ehrich was arrested on Tuesday night for allegedly getting violent with a family member. He has been charged with battery, including domestic violence against a family member aged 65 or older. The outlet was informed that on Wednesday, he was released on a $1,000 bond.
The arrest comes after fans noticed Ehrich‘s concerning behavior on social media. He went live several times with his mother in the room, raising worries among fans. It remains unclear which one of his family members has allegedly faced domestic violence.
After getting engaged in July 2020, Ehrich and Lovato went their separate ways in September of that year. At the time, a source told PEOPLE that it was a “tough decision” for the duo to conclude their engagement. They added, “Demi and Max have decided to go their separate ways to focus on their respective careers. They have respect and love for one another and will always cherish the time they spent together.”
Per Teen Vogue, in the final episode of Dancing With The Devil, Lovato opened up about her breakup with Ehrich. She revealed that she was “rushed” into the relationship and was left sad after the breakup. She further said, “The hardest part of the breakup was mourning the person that I thought he was. But I’m not the only one who felt fooled. I mean, I was just as shocked as the rest of the world at some of the things that were said and done.”
