Travis Kelce ‘Name-Dropping’ Blake Lively Didn’t Impress Her, Sources Say

Blake Lively does not appreciate Taylor Swift’s fiancé, Travis Kelce, casually name-dropping her. On a recent episode of his New Heights podcast, Kelce casually addressed Lively as a friend. This hasn’t gone down well with Lively, who believes Kelce is simply putting up the nice guy act in front of the media.

Blake Lively ‘hurt’ after Travis Kelce took her name, sources say

Blake Lively is not buying into Travis Kelce’s nice guy act. According to Rob Shuter of Shuter Scoop, Kelce took the Gossip Girl star by surprise when he casually referred to her as a “friend” in his New Heights podcast episode.

Inside sources believe this was a damage control move rather than friendship and honesty between the parties. A friend of Lively’s reveals, on the condition of anonymity, “She was like, why now? He’s been silent for months, and suddenly he’s name-dropping her like everything’s fine. It felt manipulative.”

Inside sources reveal this comment by Kelce, which has rekindled the alleged cold war and animosity between Swift and Lively, once-upon-a-time best friends.

Furthermore, their close friendship took a hit for the worse when Lively and her It Ends With Us co-star, Justin Baldoni, dragged Swift’s name into their public lawsuit.

It was then revealed that Swift was hurt by her friend, Lively, dragging her into this public controversy. The Shallows star even apologized to Swift for dragging the pop star into this legal battle. She also hoped to revive their friendship on good terms again (via Page Six).

According to the anonymous source, “Taylor pulled back completely. Now Travis is trying to smooth it over publicly — but it’s just stirring things up again.”

Sources reveal that Lively feels “hurt” and isn’t buying into Kelce’s nice guy act. “Travis might charm NFL fans, but Blake sees right through it,” the source revealed.

Eagle-eyed fans also believe that Swift’s new song “Cancelled” is directed towards Lively. It is believed that the lyrics — “Good thing I like my friends cancelled / I like ’em cloaked in Gucci and in scandal / Like my whiskey sour / And poison thorny flowers” — directly reference Lively.
