The View host Alyssa Farah Griffin recently revealed that she was pregnant on the show, making many viewers wonder when her baby is due. The former press secretary for Mike Pence and Donald Trump has shared her struggles with infertility and her journey with IVF treatments with her husband, Justin Griffin, since their marriage in November 2021. Now, several years later, the 36-year-old host is expecting her first child and has celebrated her pregnancy with Sunny Hostin, Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sara Haines, and Ana Navarro on air. Here’s when Alyssa Griffin’s baby is due.
How far along is Alyssa Farah Griffin’s pregnancy?
As of October 9, Alyssa Farah Griffin is about four to five months pregnant. She shared on The View that her baby boy is expected to arrive in February 2026. The exact due date within that month is unknown.
“I’m so glad to not have to hide it anymore,” she said on the Hot Topics segment of The View on Wednesday. “I can breathe.”
Griffin said that it took about a year or two, or specifically five rounds of IVF treatments, before it was successful. In an October 8 interview with People, she shared that she was both “excited” and “terrified” about the pregnancy and that it finally started “to feel very real” once she felt the baby kick for the first time during the past week.
During the treatments, Griffin learned that she had a condition called endometriosis, where cells that are similar to the lining to the uterus begin growing outside. According to the Massachusetts General Hospital, between 30% to 50% of people with endometriosis may experience infertility issues. It was a condition that she didn’t she had until she started the process with IVF.
It’s unclear when The View host might decide to leave the show temporarily for maternity leave. In late 2020, former host Meghan McCain decided to leave for three months on maternity leave after the birth of her daughter.
