Alix Earle as Maleficent in black cut-out dress has got the fans talking

Alix Earle shared a photo carousel on Instagram showing off her black Maleficent dress with cut-outs and a dazzling headpiece. The pictures showed the TikToker striking different poses. Moreover, one snap had a grayscale filter, where her red lipstick and green eyes were the only features that were in color. Two of the photos also showed Earle having switched the black dress for what looked like a gray robe.

The 24-year-old wore this dress for her and Val Chmerkovskiy’s performance of a Viennese Waltz in Week 4 of Dancing with the Stars. The pair performed to Lana Del Rey’s cover of “Once Upon a Dream,” from the Maleficent movie, released in 2014. “Love doesn’t always end well ~ Maleficent,” Earle captioned the post.

The comments section of her Instagram post included a variety of reactions, with many praising her looks as well as her dance with Chmerkovskiy.

“I’d eat the apple too if you handed me it,” one user wrote.

“This look was EVERYTHING,” dancer Rylee Arnold commented.

“Obsessed with youuuuu,” a fan added.

Earle and Chmerkovskiy got a score of 24/30 for their performance in “Disney Night.” They got the same score as Elaine Hendrix and Alan Bersten, as well as Jordan Chiles and Ezra Sosa.

Hendrix and Bersten performed a Quickstep, wearing attire themed after the Space Mountain attraction in Disneyland. Chiles and Sosa also performed a Quickstep, inspired by the Disneyland attraction Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, which in turn is based on the animated film, The Princess and the Frog.
