Victoria Beckham Reveals Why She Removed Her Breast Implants

Victoria Beckham recently revealed in her Netflix documentary that she removed her breast implants in 2004. She also mentioned the reason behind doing so. Namely, she did that so that she could be taken more seriously in the fashion world.

Victoria and David Beckham got married in 1999, and the famous pop star was part of the WAGs (wives and girlfriends of footballers). In her latest Netflix documentary, Beckham admitted that she regretted getting breast implants and removed them because she wanted to be taken seriously in the fashion world.

In 2006, the “WAGs” (wives and girlfriends of footballers) took the media by storm in Baden-Baden with their stunning outfits and elegant style. Beckham, too, was part of the WAGs group. She could often be seen enjoying time with Coleen Rooney, Toni Terry, and Cheryl Cole. In fact, she was dubbed the “Queen of WAGs.”

However, although she felt great when she had “big boobs” and “big hair,” there came a time when she wanted to move forward to a new chapter. In fact, she wanted to be taken seriously for her work in the fashion world. That’s when she knew she had to remove her breast implants. Beckham confessed that her close friend, Roland Mouret, motivated her to get them removed.

As per The Sun, she said, “I don’t know where those boobs went, but they went. It was definitely working with Roland that did it. He’s so great and I wouldn’t have a career if it wasn’t for him.”

The “Spice Girls” star further added, “It came from a need to be taken more seriously and me not knowing who I was. And so I think it was Roland that encouraged me to just be me — not feel I had to be that person. To just tone it down. And I think the nice thing about it is, then, I could just show myself through my collections.”
