It’s been long reported that Prince Andrew was close with Jeffrey Epstein. But a recently unearthed email has added further fuel to the fire. In the shocking correspondence, the Prince tells the financier that they’re “in it together” – and it gets worse.
What did Prince Andrew say to Jeffrey Epstein in the exposed email?
The scandal surrounding Prince Andrew is seemingly never ending. In this latest instalment, it’s been reported that the disgraced royal sent an email to Jeffrey Epstein one day after the now infamous photo of the Prince and victim Virginia Giuffre was published.
According to the Times, the email read: “It would seem we are in this together and will have to rise above it. Otherwise keep in touch.”
The Prince also allegedly wrote: “We’ll play some more soon,” seemingly a sickening nod to his use of the pedophile’s services.
Sent on February 28, 2011, Andrew’s alleged email expressed concern for friend Epstein. The Duke of York seemingly didn’t think he’d be in the firing line, though, adding “Don’t worry about me!”
He signed off the email with “A, HRH The Duke of York, KG.”
Virginia Giuffre sued Andrew in 2021. She claimed she had been trafficked to him multiple times. Andrew has always denied the accusations. Despite this, he paid her an undisclosed amount to settle out of court in 2022. Virginia committed suicide in April this year.
She previously revealed diary entries she had written during the period Andrew allegedly sexually abused her. In one excerpt she recalled him being obsessed with her feet. She wrote: “‘I love your feet,’ he whispered. ‘They are so irresistible.’ That was definitely a first for me, but I went with it all, fearful of letting down the Prince and in turn Jeffrey and Ghislaine.”
Andrew’s ex-wife Sarah Ferguson has recently been embroiled in her own Epstein email scandal.
