Nikki Garcia would like you to know that she has been on a date, thank you very much. The former WWE star brought up a recent romantic rendezvous with a guy to prove a point to sister Brie – and how it made them look like “those creepy twins”.
Nikki Garcia established she was on a date, not “friends going to dinner”
On Monday’s episode of the Nikki & Brie Show, Brie Garcia made a joke about Nikki’s apparent lackluster love life. She laughed: “No wonder you haven’t been on a date!”
Clearly Nikki didn’t appreciate the slight dig. She replied: “Why do you say that? No, no, no. I have been on a date. One of the dates I’ve been on, you were there.”
Brie asked: “That was a date?”, to which Nikki replied: “I mean, yeah, I went to dinner with the guy and you were sitting right there.”
Brie wasn’t having it, though. She said: “No, that’s not a date. That was not a date … That was like friends going to dinner.”
Nikki then revealed that the evening had taken a romantic turn: “Yeah, but I made out with him later, so was it friends going to dinner?”
Brie concluded: “Okay, but you can’t say your first date with a man was with me there.” She added: “Then we’re those creepy twins. We don’t want to be those creepy twins.”
Nikki divorced Dancing With the Stars pro Artem Chigvintsev in September 2024. The pair had been dating since 2017, and have a son together.
Meanwhile on the SiriusXM show, Brie and Nikki also discussed Taylor Swift’s spicy new song “Wood“, which features not-so-subtle lyrics referencing fiancé Travis Kelce’s manhood.
Nikki joked: “I got to start to like have nicknames of trees for my guys. Oh my goodness. Right. Like that’s a sequoia.”
